1. Information Collection
We collect information to provide a better experience. This includes:
- Account Info: Email and password for registered users.
- Guest Info: Unique identifiers for guest accounts to save your progress.
- Usage Data: Language learning progress, dictionary interactions, and AI chat history.
2. How We Use Data
Your data is used to authenticate your sessions (via JWT), synchronize progress between devices, and improve our AI learning algorithms.
3. Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your account. You can do this in the app settings or by contacting us at support.flytalkai@gmail.com. All personal data will be removed from our servers within 30 days of the request.
4. Security
We use industry-standard encryption to protect your tokens and personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
5. Microphone Permission (Voice Input)
Our app requests access to your device's microphone **only** when you use the voice input feature to practice speaking.
- Audio is processed in real-time to convert speech to text.
- We do **not** store or record your voice permanently.
- You can use the app entirely with text input if you deny microphone permission.
- Permission is requested at runtime and can be revoked anytime in your device settings.
Account Deletion & Data Removal
To delete your FlyTalkAI account and all associated data, you can:
- In-App: Log in, go to your Profile page, and click 'Delete Account'.
- By Email: Contact us at support@flytalkai.com from your registered email address.
Deleted data includes: email, chat history, and learning progress. Transaction records are kept for legal compliance.
